Traditional saddle cloth (kichim) of the Khakass people (19th–early 20th centuries)
This article examines the traditional Khakass saddle cloth. The research is based on museum collections from the Russian Ethnographic Museum (St. Petersburg), the Peter the Great Museum of Anthropology and Ethnography (Kunstkamera), the Khakass National Museum of Local History, and the Minusinsk Museum of Local History. The author analyzes scientific publications on this issue that have appeared in Russian science in different years, the classification of saddle blankets (men's, women's, wedding and children's) and the technology of decoration. The Khakass saddle cloth, which has been in use in the Khakass-Minusinsk Basin since ancient Turkic and pre-Mongol times, allows it to be considered one of the most stable elements in the culture of the Khakass nomads. On the other hand, the equipment of the Khakass riding horse was lost during the Soviet era (1930-1950s).
Key words: decorative and applied arts of the Khakass people, saddle cloth, ethnic groups of the Khakass people – Kachins, Sagays, Koibals, Kyzyls.

In the modern world: traditions, culture Kuban Cossacks
Times change, but the culture, traditions, and customs of one's people al-ways remain eternal. It is essential to revive traditions and culture in our time; this will preserve them for posterity. Traditional culture is invaluable in the development and education of youth.
Traditions, culture, and customs begin where a person creates; this is re-vealed through imaginative thinking and the mastery of creativity. Mastering this yardstick is the essential characteristic of culture. Teaching art and history is key to introducing youth to traditions, culture, and customs. The individual has always played, and will continue to play, a vital role in history. When brought to the forefront, the individual can assume full responsibility without fear of any negative consequences. Art education and training can significantly improve the quality of knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as the effectiveness of teaching.
Key words: culture, traditions, customs, education, art, Cossacks, youth, thinking.

Piano concertos by Johannes Brahms
The purpose of this paper is to analyze the characteristics of Johannes Brahms's piano concertos as a synthesis of symphonic thinking and piano virtuosity. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to consider:
– the historical context of the concertos' creation;
– their place in the development of the piano concerto genre;
– characteristic features of dramaturgy, form, and orchestration;
– the principles of interaction between soloist and orchestra;
The relevance of this topic stems from interest in the work of Brahms as one of the key figures of late Romanticism. The concertos are ambitious in their thought and depth. Studying Brahms's piano concertos allows for a better and more detailed understanding of the evolution of style in the Romantic era, as well as the nature of interaction between soloist and orchestra in musical art in the second half of the 19th century.
Key words: J. Brahms, concert, music, piano, achievement, symphony.

Explanation of the causes of stage fright in student vocalists and theoretical development of pedagogical intervention strategies
Vocal performance, due to its embodied nature, where "the self is the instrument," and the direct exposure of emotions, presents students with unique psychological challenges, making stage anxiety a common phenomenon [2]. This study, based on a theoretical analysis and synthesis of literature, proposes a model for the emergence of anxiety grounded in the interaction of "body-cognitions-context" [2, 3, 5]. Its causes include: uncertainty in controlling the body as an instrument [2], distorted evaluative thoughts (fear of judgment, perfectionism) [3, 4], and the stress-inducing performance situation (exams, stage) [5]. Based on this model, a "cognitive-behavioral-somatic" intervention framework is developed for integration into the educational process, encompassing: cognitive restructuring of goals [1], gradual exposure through a "performance ladder" [5], and psychophysical regulation (breathing [7], centering). The research provides a theoretical foundation and a practical framework for shifting vocal pedagogy from a "priority of technique" to a holistic "co-development of body and psyche" [1].
Key words: stage anxiety, theoretical model, cognitive restructuring, gradual exposure, psychophysical regulation.

The first literary periodical in Siberia, "Irtysh, transforming into Hippocrene": status and research prospects
The Siberian journal "The Irtysh Turning into Hippocrene," a periodical (monthly) publication that was published in Tobolsk from 1789 to 1791, founded by Pankraty Platonovich Sumarokov, can be considered a monument of culture of the late 18th century. Despite the short duration of its publication, the journal continues to attract the interest of researchers, accompanied by the appearance of numerous works. This article presents information about the periodical publication and the scientific publications dedicated to it: these include bibliographic works, literary studies of the social, aesthetic, and literary program, satirical trends, and translations of works by Western European authors. It is concluded that the journal "Irtysh" should be viewed, first and foremost, as one of the first examples of Russian provincial journalism and printing.

Phiosophy and symbolism of Chinese monochrome painting
Nowadays, interest in Chinese culture is increasing in Russia. This is reflected in the increased demand for learning Chinese, the number of schools and courses of Chinese painting and calligraphy opening, the fashion for tea ceremonies, the organization of exhibitions, and festivals with exhibits of Chinese art and crafts, concerts of traditional music and dance, etc.
However, how deeply are we able to comprehend this culture?
To understand any cultural phenomenon, it is necessary to have an idea of the philosophical and ideological climate in which it arose and was formed. This article is an attempt to highlight one of the unique and complex phenomena of Chinese national culture - the painting «Xie Yi» - in the aspect of its deep philosophical content.

The pointe technique of ballerina Ilmira Bagavutdinova as an innovative artistic practice
This article is dedicated to the analysis of the contemporary art practice « Pointe Painting» as an element of artistic culture, explored by Mariinsky Theatre ballerina Ilmira Bagautdinova. This method synthesizes the performance of classical dance on pointe with the real-time creation of a pictorial composition on canvas. The foundation of the method lies in the dualism of the performance and the existence of a static object upon its completion. « Pointe Painting» is positioned as an intermedial artistic practice. Its artistic value is substantiated by the development of ideas from avant-garde strategies of the late 19th and 20th centuries – R. Wagner, O. Schlemmer, Y. Klein, J. Cage. Bagautdinova's work aligns with the criteria of the «conceptual environment» as a key category of contemporary relevant art. These criteria include transmediality, the dynamism of contemporary conventionality, the overcoming of exhibition space boundaries, aggressive intrusion into the spectator's field, and the rejection of illusionism. An attempt is made to demonstrate why « Pointe Painting» is not an exotic spectacle, but rather a coherent artistic practice with its own methodology, material-technical base, and institutional potential, capable of making a significant contribution to contemporary artistic practice.
Key words: Pointe Painting, Ilmira Bagautdinova, John Cage, Yves Klein, Gesamtkunstwerk, transmediality, ballet, fine art, performance, conceptual environment.

The epistemological and terminological discourse on the genesis of paper in China
The article provides a comprehensive analysis of the interdisciplinary scientific debate on the origin and early evolution of paper in China, which was sparked by archaeological discoveries in the second half of the 20th century. The traditional narrative attributing the invention of paper to the official Cai Lun (c. 105 AD) is examined as a specific case of the phenomenon of personalizing technological innovations. The starting point of the controversy was the findings at Baqiao and other sites from the Western Han period (2nd – 1st centuries BC), which challenged the canonical chronology. The work reconstructs the historiographical context of the formation of the canonical version, analyzes key archaeological evidence, and explores the terminological («zhi») and technological criteria for identifying ancient paper.
Central attention is paid to the methodological split between proponents of a revisionist chronology (led by historian Pan Jixing) and paper industry technologists, who interpret early artifacts as primitive proto-paper forms. It is demonstrated that the scientific debate was significantly complicated by ideological and political factors. The figure of Cai Lun, serving as a consolidating national narrative, became an object of protection by state institutions that perceived revision as a threat to the symbolic capital of China's cultural priority. Ultimately, the author concludes that Cai Lun's role likely lay not in the primary invention but in the systematization and implementation of the technology on an imperial scale. It is shown that the debate on the origin of paper is a vivid case study of the interaction between science, ideology, and politics in the construction of historical knowledge.
Key words: China, origin of paper, Cai Lun, Western Han Dynasty, Baqiao, Pan Jixing, technological priority, ideology and science, methodological conflict, «Four Great Inventions».

National gastronomy as an object of intangible cultural heritage: a precedent for the inclusion of Italian cuisine in the UNESCO list
The article is devoted to a comprehensive analysis of the precedent inclusion of Italian cuisine in the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in 2025. The object of heritage protection was not a separate gastronomic practice, but an integral national cuisine, considered as a system of socio-cultural values and everyday practices. The study reveals the methodological novelty of the nomination, based on the concept of a "cultural ecosystem" that overcame UNESCO's traditional dilemma between regional diversity and national integrity. The term "cultural ecosystem" is a conceptual term central to the dialectic of research – combining regional fragmentation into an integrated object.
Based on an interdisciplinary approach (cultural studies, anthropology, economics, history), the key stages of the preparation of the application (2023-2025), its conceptual foundations, the structure of participants and argumentation are analyzed. Special attention is paid to rethinking the role of the basic elements of cuisine, from the emphasis on seasonality and locality of products to the rituals of eating together and intergenerational knowledge transfer.
The article also evaluates the immediate and predictable consequences of recognition: the transformation of the professional identity of chefs, the dynamics of gastronomic tourism and the market of authentic products, as well as the impact of UNESCO's status and authority on internal discussions about health, ecology and the preservation of traditions in the context of globalization. The case of Italian cuisine is presented as a new format of cultural diplomacy and a model for future nominations, expanding the toolkit for the protection of living heritage.
Key words: intangible cultural heritage, UNESCO, Italian cuisine, gastronomic practices, cultural ecosystem, regional diversity, socio-cultural values, gastronomic tourism, preservation of traditions.

A.N. Scriabin's piano sonatas: from romanticism to mysticism
The goal of this work is to analyze the evolution of Alexander Scriabin's piano sonatas as a path from romantic aesthetics to the philosophical and mystical worldview embodied in his late works. To achieve this goal, it is necessary to consider:
– the historical and stylistic conditions of the composer's style formation;
– the features of harmonic language, form, and texture in works of different periods;
– changes in aesthetics related to the transition from romanticism to symbolism and further - to Scriabin's mystical worldview.
The relevance of the topic is due to the sustained interest of researchers and performers in Scriabin's work, his unique role in the formation of modernism and the search for new sound, as well as the philosophical content of his late sonatas, in which musical language becomes a means of expressing metaphysical ideas. Understanding the evolution of the composer's sonata style allows not only to reveal the specifics of his thinking but also to trace the general trends in the development of musical art at the turn of the XIX-XX centuries.
Key words: A.N. Scriabin, mysticism, esthetician, work, sonata, piano.

The influence of cultural code on the ethics of social advertising
The article concludes with a reasoned conclusion that in order to achieve the maximum positive impact of social advertising on people, it is necessary to have a correct and deep understanding of the relevant cultural codes in order to minimize potential ethical conflicts. The article examines how cultural codes – enduring symbols, norms, and values shared in a particular society – define the ethical framework for the perception of public service announcements. Using campaigns from five countries (the United States, Japan, India, Australia, and Russia), the article demonstrates that ignoring cultural context not only reduces the effectiveness of communication, but can also lead to ethical conflicts. The analysis shows that adapting messages to local cultural codes is not a fad, but a necessary condition for the legitimacy and impact of public service announcements. Special attention is paid to the dilemmas that arise when campaigns are broadcast outside their original cultural context.
Key words: social advertising, cultural code, communication ethics, intercultural adaptation, and social values.

Light and color solutions in the space of Richard Bergholz's watercolor landscapes
Russian landscape painting, in general, is of great importance precisely for Russian artistic culture, which is traditionally closely connected with the richest Russian nature, relying on it spiritually and ideologically. A separate direction is the lyrical landscape, or “mood landscape”, the purpose of which is to depict not so much a specific landscape as the emotions and experiences of the author-artist. This article is devoted to the work of the outstanding Russian watercolorist Richard Bergholz, whose work, unfortunately, has been overlooked by art critics. The characteristic features of his creative style are: a chilly color scheme, extensive use of “raw” techniques (especially in long-range perspective images), the choice of transformational periods to display on canvases (the transition between autumn and winter, etc.). It is important to emphasize that his canvases are distinguished by the highest art of conveying the atmosphere in paintings, which it is unique both for the Russian art school and for the world. The presented article makes a great contribution to the history of the study of watercolor painting in Russia, which is poorly represented on the pages of academic publications.
Key words: Richard Bergholz, watercolor painting, watercolor landscape, lyrical landscape, Society of Russian Watercolorists, “raw” technique, Russian plein air.

From "Ornament" to "Expression": a study of the evolution of the function of vocal ornaments in romantic bel canto
This research focuses on the fundamental transformation of the function of vocal ornamentation in the development of the bel canto art during the 19th century [1]. Through a comparative analysis of the use of ornamentation in the operas of Rossini and Verdi, it reveals a shift in its core function from a supplementary embellishment serving to demonstrate vocal beauty to a key means of dramatic expression. The study shows that in Rossini's operas, ornamentation was primarily improvised by singers to highlight the splendor and technical mastery of the voice, while in Verdi's works, it became strictly prescribed by the composer in the score, an organic element for revealing a character's psychology. This evolution marks a historical shift in the aesthetic paradigm of bel canto–from an abstract cult of "beautiful singing" to a concrete embodiment of dramatic truth.
Key words: bel canto, vocal ornamentation, Rossini, Verdi, Romanticism, dramatic expressiveness, evolution of function.

Human rights, cultural identity and globalization in proverbs: a linguo-sensory analysis
The article is devoted to the analysis of the representation of key socio-philosophical concepts – human rights, cultural identity, and globalization – in the Russian paremiological fund (proverbs and sayings). The aim of the study is to identify deep-seated linguo-sensory models that mediate the perception of these abstract problems through the prism of bodily and sensory experience embedded in language. The methodological foundation is an integrative linguo-sensory approach synthesizing methods of semantic-cognitive analysis of paremias, contextual interpretation, and linguoculturology. The central objects of analysis are somatic components (bodily metaphors of taste, touch, space, pain), which serve as keys to deciphering archaic yet enduring cultural codes. It is proven that the issue of human rights in Russian paremias is encoded primarily through the oppositions "volya/nevolya" (freedom/bondage) and "pravda/krivda" (truth/falsehood), expressed by the sensorics of physical action, restriction, and ethical feeling. Globalization processes and interaction with the "other" are represented through the binary opposition "svoi/chuzhoi" (one's own/alien), materialized in the sensory codes of food (familiar vs. alien), pain (threat), and mastered vs. alien space. The author argues that paremias function as stable repositories of collective sensory experience through which culture comprehends and conceptualizes complex social phenomena. Linguo-sensory analysis is recognized as an effective tool for the critical deconstruction of contemporary international, political, and educational discourses, allowing for the revelation of their non-obvious culturally conditioned foundations. The results of the study have practical significance: they can be applied to enhance the effectiveness of intercultural communication, in translation practice, as well as in the development of educational programs in the fields of cultural studies, political science, and linguistics, contributing to overcoming methodological ethnocentrism and accounting for cultural specificity of perception.
Key words: linguosensorics, paremiology, somatic code, cultural conceptology, Russian language, human rights, globalization, cultural identity.

The nature and implications of the digital divide for educational development
The article considers the essence and consequences of digital inequality for the development of the education system. It draws attention to the fact that digital inequality is a consequence of many interrelated factors - socio-economic and cultural. It is emphasised that digital inequality is an objective reality, the result of the processes of digitalisation of the economy in the first place, which places increased demands on the sphere of education. The characteristics of digital inequality are considered, and the consequences caused by it, both negative and positive, are analysed. The ways of overcoming digital inequality in the educational environment are analysed.

Network structure of political mainstream actors
The article examines the transformation of the political process through the lens of network approach and actor-network theory in the context of digitalization of communication space. The relevance of the work is determined by the contradiction between the massification of digital practices (82% of Russia's population are regular Internet users) and low political activity in social media (only 2-3% of users turn to them for political communication), which requires rethinking the role of network structures in the political process. Classical sociological approaches developed during the era of mass communications and centralized institutions prove insufficient to explain network society phenomena, where new types of actors emerge - from influencers to algorithmic systems. The research aims to develop a conceptual framework for analyzing the network structure of political mainstream actors, accounting for the fundamental heterogeneity of political process participants. The methodological foundation integrates B. Latour's actor-network theory, M. Castells' network society concept, and Russian studies of digital political communication. Theoretical analysis enabled conceptualization of key concepts – «political mainstream», «network structure», and «actor» - identification of network interaction mechanisms, and substantiation of the necessity to include non-human actors in the analytical framework: technological platforms, ranking algorithms, and social network interfaces. It is demonstrated that the modern political mainstream is organized according to network principles with power decentralization and multiple centers of influence, while digitalization represents not the emergence of new technologies but a fundamental transformation of political interaction through the convergence of online and offline spaces. Russian specificity is determined by distinctive discursive practices, state regulation of the digital environment, and polarization of online discourse. Research results can be applied to develop political communication strategies and digital platform regulation accounting for the role of non-human actors in shaping the political agenda.
Key words: actor-network theory, political mainstream, network structure, digitalization of politics, non-human actors.

Theoretical analysis of the effectiveness of the regional political elite
The article presents a study of the effectiveness of the regional political elite. The political elite is one of the leading social groups. It occupies a prominent place in the social structure of society and plays a significant role in social development. Its social role at the current stage cannot be explained solely by its status or the transformations that have affected various aspects of society. The elite is directly involved in fulfilling a range of social needs, primarily in maintaining the stability of society, creating rational and justified management paradigms and technologies that ensure the effective organization of the management process and the progressive development of society. Determining the effectiveness of the political elite and identifying the results of managing socio-economic systems remains one of the least studied areas in political science. This issue is even more challenging in the practical activities of government and administration bodies. At the same time, it is quite obvious that assessing the effectiveness of the political elite is of great practical value, as it allows us to determine whether the chosen areas of activity are correct and what results they bring.

Domestic experience of introducing urbanism into the state's urban development policy
The authors analyze the domestic experience of state urban planning policy and its evolution. The article examines the key stages in the development of urban thought in the West and in the USSR, including the concepts of the garden city, communal housing, and industrial and mass housing construction. Particular attention is paid to the socio-ideological foundations of Soviet urban planning and their influence on the spatial organization of cities. It is shown that many architectural and planning solutions of the Soviet period remain relevant and continue to shape the appearance of contemporary Russian cities, while simultaneously generating systemic problems. Analyzing the challenges of urbanization in modern Russia, the authors conclude that there is a need to develop a coherent, human-centered urban planning policy based on a critical understanding of domestic experience and the study of international practices in urban development.

The Relationship between Language and Youth Mentality
This article examines one of the most important factors determining the mentality of Russian youth: language. Solar and Lunar Interpretations of Khors in the Context of The Tale of Igor’s Campaign
The purpose of this article is to resolve the long-standing debate concerning the nature of Khors in favor of the lunar interpretation. The question of the origin of the theonym Khors is set aside, while primary attention is devoted to The Tale of Igor’s Campaign, regarded as one of the most valuable sources on Old Russian paganism. The inconsistency of the solar interpretation of Khors is demonstrated through a contextual analysis of passages from The Tale of Igor’s Campaign that contain references to the celestial bodies of day and night. In analyzing these fragments, the author applies an apagogical method of proof in order to substantiate his position. As an additional argument against the solar interpretation, a passage from the Old Russian translation of the Chronicle of John Malalas is cited. The article critically examines the views of modern scholars on the essence of Khors, including M.A. Vasiliev, A.A. Beskov, and K.L. Borisov, and introduces a new argument supporting the lunar interpretation: the epithet “great” is proposed to refer to the appearance of Khors rather than to his status.
Key words: Khors, Dazhbog, Dazhdbog, Dazhbog, The Tale of Igor's Campaign, Slavic mythology, Old Russian literature.
