On socio-cultural transformations and models of cultural dynamics
In modern cultural studies, there are various models of cultural dynamics, but they are usually variations or a synthesis of two main approaches - cyclic and linear. The cyclic approach assumes that the development of culture takes place in repetitive phases or states, the linear one considers cultural development as a consistent and irreversible increase in the level of complexity and organization in all spheres of culture. The article shows that the most adequate way to analyze complex processes of socio-cultural transformations is the joint use of various theoretical models of cultural dynamics. In this context, the wave model seems to be the most promising and comprehensive. The wave model successfully combines elements of linear and cyclic models, allowing the most complete reflection of the specifics of socio-cultural transformations. On the one hand, these processes reflect the idea of progressive development, characteristic of a linear perspective, on the other, they also fit into the scheme of changing cultural cycles, which corresponds to a cyclical model. Thus, the wave model makes it possible to understand socio-cultural transformations as a natural result of the development of the outgoing cultural system and the beginning of the formation of a new one.
Key words: culture, transformation, dynamics, model, linear, cyclic, wave, processes.

Cultural code of the Arctic: integrating culture and education
The relevance of the topic is due to the need to transform the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts into a centre of creative competencies. In 2022, the Arctic Institute of Culture and Arts (AICA) was among those educational organisations of higher education that qualified for the "Priority-2030" strategic academic leadership programme. Within the programme framework, the strategic project "Cultural Code of the Arctic" acquires great significance. Among the main areas of great importance are ethno-cultural heritage as a living tradition: identity and reproduction of new cultural texts, culture and art of the North in the world dimension: global and local.
The relevance is also determined by the need to integrate education, culture and the mechanism for embedding the updated educational content of AICA into the creative economy of the region and the Far Eastern Federal District.
Time raises the question of the integrating cultural heritage into the modern educational system. The article discusses the problems of preservation and development of traditional culture of the Arctic peoples in the educational activities of the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts, the only one in the North-East of Russia.
The functioning of traditional values in modern society is especially relevant and important in the era of intensive globalisation, levelling the original features, cultural norms, moral values of peoples. Aggressive globalisation on the background of the rapid formation of consumer consciousness in the global world will lead not only to the loss of traditional values, but also to the loss of peoples' ethno-cultural identity. The original traditional culture of the indigenous peoples of the Arctic and the North remains particularly vulnerable in our time, which is dominated by stereotypical thinking cultivated by mass consciousness. Globalisation processes have a negative impact on traditional cultural heritage. This article focuses on the integration of culture and education as one of the existing mechanisms for preserving the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Arctic and the North.
The aim is to form a conceptual approach to the introduction of the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Arctic and the North into the university educational system.
The paper considers the main parameters of the project "Cultural Code of the Arctic", developed by the Arctic State Institute of Culture and Arts in the framework of the implementation of strategic academic leadership "Priority-2030". It analyses the requirements and criteria for training personnel who know the basics of traditional culture of the Arctic and Northern peoples, taking into account the realities and needs of the northern regions of the country.
Key words: culture, tradition, code, project, legacy, education, integration, Arctic, North, people, ethnic culture, spirituality, art.

The image of femininity is the starting point in the work of the Victorian Pre-Raphaelites
In this study, the subject is the canon of the female image, formed in the art of the pre-Raphaelites of the Victorian era. The purpose of this article is to analyze the work of the pre-Raphaelite artists to identify the aesthetic cult of the female image within the framework of this trend.
The authors focus on the life-creation of this association, which created a new type of female beauty in the history of fine art, which to this day is the prototype of the ideal woman, since the cult of the feminine was a landmark idea of the pre-Raphaelites. The novelty of the research lies in the fact that the authors continue to study this problem of the novelty of the female image in pre-Raphaelite art, and try to identify the main characteristic components of the pre-Raphaelite style.
The article describes the main feminine images that have developed in the paintings of pre-Raphaelite artists. Their images embodied on canvases became a revolution in European art. They showed a new look at female beauty. Interest in the work of the pre-Raphae.
The method of concrete historical analysis, modeling, deductive method and others were used. The research was conducted on the study of literary materials of domestic and foreign authors devoted to the work of the pre–Raphaelites, as well as the analysis of visual sources - documentary photographs and works of art of this association. Due to the lack of research on this topic, the authors had to resort to a purely descriptive presentation of the material.

The image of the past in the Russian web series "Inside Lapenko"
The subject of the study is the phenomenon of nostalgia for the USSR among people of the post-Soviet space, as well as the formation of an image of the past on the example of the Russian web series "Inside Lapenko". In the article, the author gives a detailed definition of the image of the past, and also highlights the aspects of which it consists, namely artistic images, cinematic plots and ways of visualization and representation. Further, through the comparative historical research method, the characters of the web series and the images of movie heroes of the USSR and early Russia are analyzed: Shurik from the comedies of Gaidai and bandits from the film "Blind Man's Buff" by Alexey Balabanov, as well as special attention is paid to the analysis of plots and filming techniques that help to broadcast the ideas of people of the present time to the past in which they never lived. The study of the phenomenon of nostalgia for the USSR and the formation of an image of the past among people of the post-Soviet space involves the use of a comparative historical method. After the conducted research, the following conclusions can be drawn. Using the comparative historical research method, it was revealed that people have a request to comprehend and form an image of that era, to which they were not involved, but by any means want to receive information and have an idea about that time. This is due to the large number of quotations and references in the direction of old Soviet films, intentionally used in modern Russian audiovisual content.
The novelty of the research lies in the fact that this phenomenon has not yet been fully studied and therefore this study can be the basis for forming a clear understanding of the phenomenon of the Russian web series and its visual form in modern media culture.

Physicality in the voice of a Soviet singer of the 20s and early 30s
The early Soviet era, rich in creative experiments, was postulating the direct involvement of art in the political life of the country. Old approaches to the voice were transforming and new ones were forming, giving new ideals and goals for both professional stage actors and ordinary citizens, on the one hand, on the other hand, new bodily and cultural restrictions. The «new cultural voice», emerging under the influence of futurism, old opera criticism and fresh political thought, would result in a new Soviet vocal tradition.

The influence of the concepts of western postmodern painting on Chinese figurative painting by Ren-Wu on the example of Yun-Fei Ji, Liu Qinghe
The article analyzes the influence of the concepts of Western postmodern painting on Chinese figurative painting "ren-wu" on the example of Yun-Fei Ji and Liu Qinghe. The history and content of the genre of "ren-wu", one of the first genres of traditional Chinese painting, are briefly considered. It is noted that within the framework of the philosophy of Taoism in the traditional genre of "ren-wu" people were depicted as a symbol and bearer of a certain idea. The essence of Western postmodern thinking is given, which, having penetrated into China, expanded the usual boundaries of creativity. In the genre of "ren-wu", the approach to the object of the image has changed: in modern works, a person is perceived as a person whose individuality the authors seek to reflect using experimental artistic techniques and technicality. The article examines the specifics of the work of two contemporary Chinese artists – Yun-Fei Ji and Liu Qinghe. Yun-Fei Ji synthesizes traditional and modern ways and tools of depiction, undermining the classical idealism of the centuries-old traditions of Chinese scrolls to reflect acute environmental and social problems. Liu Qinghe is known for his deeply psychological ink portraits of the inhabitants of everyday China. For artists, traditions are the basis for rethinking themselves and the surrounding reality.

Involving traditions in the young generation ways, their implementations (Kuban cossacks)
In the process of communicating with fine, decorative and applied arts, folk art, knowledge, skills and abilities necessary in later life are acquired and accumulated. Art exists in the life of each of us. On the one hand, without it it is impossible to develop imagination, fantasy, and on the other hand, this is creativity, which manifests itself in material activity. The knowledge gained in fine arts classes contributes to the development of artistic and creative abilities. Gaining knowledge largely depends on how the teacher organizes and conducts this lesson. In the conditions of modern society, the revival of national self-awareness acquires particular urgency in educating young people on the traditions, culture and customs of their people. As you know, folk culture influences the spiritual world of modern man and educates him on traditions and customs.
The people have always strived to instill deep respect for traditions in the younger generation, and the knowledge accumulated by the elders was carefully passed on to the younger generations. The ethno-artistic culture of the Kuban Cossacks is the embodiment of the centuries-old collective experience of the people and an inexhaustible treasury of beauty - fraught with enormous, far from exhausted reserves of aesthetic education.

Prototype tracing and image expression of ethnic minority characters of Heilongjiang province
Prototype, as a concept accumulated and precipitated by ancestral experience, can only show explicit meaning when it is filled with image, viewpoints, and motifs. Exploring ethnic cultural prototypes, deeply describing their laws and values, exploring the origin of the nation, and inheriting, developing, and spreading ethnic culture all have practical significance. As a means of recording, preserving, and disseminating ethnic culture, image texts can explore the origin, development patterns, and trends of ethnic culture from different story prototypes. By tracing the prototype of ethnic culture and grasping the evolution, development, and inheritance of its culture, the origin and development characteristics of ethnic culture can be deeply grasped, being great practical significance for the long-term survival of the nation; Visually depictions of the projection environment, image, behavior, and even language of prototype can reserve tangible, perceptible, and reference examples for the evolution and inheritance of culture. Starting from Jung's prototype theory, this article explores the development and significance of prototypes, carefully selects two representative figures from the Daur and Hezhen ethnic groups, benchmarks against the "wise elderly" in prototype theory, and uses the two as the entry points for documentaries of ethnic minority characters. This article also explores the specific operational methods and strategies for creating documentaries about ethnic minority figures from three aspects: scene selection, detail grasp, and camera language, in order to provide effective cases for subsequent ethnographic research.
