Comparison of the development of secularization in Taoist and Christian painting
To a certain extent, religion is the soul of a nation. The nutrition provided by religious culture to artistic creation is very rich, and its influence on the art of painting is far-reaching and great. At the same time, religious paintings also add artistic infectivity to religion itself, especially enhancing the spread of religion.
Christianity and Taoism both contain the spirit of universal love. These two religions with a long history have similarities in cultural inheritance and development. The inclusive character of Taoism and Christianity provides a practical basis for cross-cultural communication between the two religions.

Formation and development of violin art in Russia
Modern violin art has gone through several stages in its development. Consideration of them must begin with the study of schools of violin playing, including the methods and ways of playing used by teachers. It is important to note that today both classical, traditional methods and modern innovative ones are successfully used. Today, when teaching violin art, both classical and innovative methods are used. Teaching violin art will be most effective only if the teacher is fluent in all teaching methods. In modern Russia, the best schools have been created where they teach violin playing, despite the fact that our country is not the founder of this art form. The purpose of the study is to study the processes of violin creativity in the modern Russian violin school (second half of the 20th – beginning of the 21st century). Arrangements and transcriptions of classical repertoire in the art of a saxophone performer
Transcriptions and arrangements charge a fundamental place in the art of the professional musician. Since the Middle Ages, composers and performers have been adapting musical works written for one instrument to sound on another performing medium. The saxophone is no exception in this case. And, along with traditional compositions intended for the saxophone, saxophonists also perform on this musical instrument classical musical works created for other musical instruments. This article analyzes transcriptions and arrangements of musical works not originally intended for the saxophone, but adapted for performance on it. Having considered the terminological apparatus of the research and having revealed the content of the terms “transcription”, “perelozheniye”, “arrangement”, the author of the article analyzes the peculiarities of performing classical repertoire intended for bowed instruments on saxophone. The article analyzes transcriptions and arrangements of I.-S. Bach’s cello suites (“Six Suites for solo cello”), defines the principles and dif-ficulties of their arrangement, considers the history and theory of creating saxophone versions of N. Paganini’s caprices written for solo violin, gives a brief characteristic of the saxophone performance of M. Ravel’s “Vocalise-etude in the form of habanera". The author of the article comes to the conclusion that the main condition for transposing a classical musical work into the “language” of the saxophone is not only the level of mastery of his instrument, i.e. saxophone, but also knowledge of the specifics of the sound of the original instrument, its musical and technical features.
Key words: saxophone, transcription, arrangement, perelozheniye, musical composition, repertoire.

Cooperation between China and Russia in the sphere of musical exchange
Russian-Chinese relations are one of the most important indicators of political and socio-economic stability not only in the Asia-Pacific region, but also in the whole world. In recent years, the need for interaction between Russia and China at the level of culture, which has a significant impact on the process of Russian-Chinese interaction, has become more and more obvious and relevant. An important part of cultural cooperation is the expansion and deepening of musical ties between Russia and China. Since music is a link between peoples and a guarantor of diplomatic relations, musical exchange is a necessary component of bilateral cooperation. This article examines the evolution of musical exchanges between Russia and China at the current stage of friendship between the two countries. Such a phenomenon of modern cultural life as musical exchange affects two areas: the exchange of students and teachers of musical educational institutions of Russia and China and the exchange of performers of different musical genres in order to familiarize the people of each country with the musical culture of the partner country. The author of the article pays special attention to the second type of musical exchange, describing various events held within the framework of bilateral cultural cooperation.
Key words: cultural exchange, musical exchange, bilateral cooperation, music education, festival, concert.

Postmodernism as the origin of the study of visual metaphors in contemporary Chinese art
The object of study in this work is Chinese contemporary art. The subject of the research is the influence of Western postmodernism on Chinese art. The authors attempted to understand how China takes on the challenge of the latest and most critical Western culture, or rather, it is about the influence of Western postmodernism on the metaphorical nature of Chinese contemporary art. The authors studied the work of predecessors. They conclude that two art movements with postmodern tendencies in contemporary China are the Star Painting Exhibition (1979) and the New Wave 85 (1983). In terms of the ultimate impact of these two movements, they were simply a bold attempt to diversify the material of the original Chinese artistic creation. At the same time, they awakened the national consciousness to a certain extent and stimulated the creative enthusiasm of Chinese artists. But one thing is undeniable: they were all just childish imitations of Western postmodernism, which was far ahead. In order to understand the specific influence of «postmodernism» on Chinese contemporary art, this paper provides a detailed explanation of postmodernism from the point of view of historical development and linguistics. In addition, postmodernists advocate the rejection of conventional frameworks and the formation of their work into new forms of art, it is also characterized by difficulty in making final statements, ambiguity and inability to unify. Taking into account these characteristics, the author comes to the conclusion that many different and incomprehensible forms of Western postmodern art are presented at contemporary world art exhibitions. It is clear that Western postmodern art has been able to flourish up to the present day, and is proof enough that the transition from modern art to postmodernism in the West is an inevitable trend. The reason for the different influence of postmodernism in China and the West lies in the different political and cultural background of China and the West. Western postmodern art is a product of the Western industrial society that changes the lives, thoughts and feelings of people with its indefinable characteristics. In other words, for Chinese culture, postmodernism, as the mother of modern world art, reconstructs Western modernism under Chinese, with a new paradigm and its own authority. As for China, the authors believe that this trend is the starting point for Chinese contemporary art, which opens up new opportunities for Chinese contemporary art. The authors, when writing the article, used the methods of historical analysis. In the process of writing the work, an understanding comes that it is impossible to put a final point on this issue due to the multi-layered nature of various cultural traditions.
Key words: China, Chinese culture, contemporary art, modernism, postmodernism, creativity, Western postmodern art, cultural traditions.

A socio-anthropological view of the New Year's addresses of heads of state
Calendar holidays have always been signs of changes in social time. Based on the traditions that developed around these holidays, one can judge the peculiarities of not only everyday life, but also the specifics of the socio-economic and political organization of both a small group of people and a large one, including a national one. Throughout history, these traditions have been preserved and changed. As their lives became more complicated, people needed to create new channels of social communication, including between the authorities and the people. As part of calendar rituals, such a channel became congratulations to heads of state on all significant events in the life of the country. New Year's greetings from state leaders, practiced in many countries, have significant differences from other manifestations of this genre. It is these differences that become the subject of socio-anthropological analysis.
Key words: verbal creativity, communication channel, New Year, Christmas, congratulations, power.

The educational potential of Russian history in modern sciocultural conditions: new challenges and responses
In the Strategy for the Development of Education in the Russian Federation, the education of the younger generation is declared a strategic priority [1]. In the pedagogical community, issues related to the ways and means of the educational process among children and adolescents are discussed [2]. At the same time, the most important place is given to civic education, a value attitude towards the Motherland and its historical past [3]. The relevance of the chosen topic is due to the fact that in recent years the civic positions of young people have been reduced. The political events of our time have a tremendous impact on public perception, mass consciousness, people's attitudes towards their country and Russian society. In the field of modern education, the problem arises of creating a system of value orientations for children, schoolchildren and students. To do this, it is necessary to solve a number of tasks, one of which is the moral education of the younger generation [4]. The purpose of this study is to analyze the educational potential of school history and, specifically, national history. Education is considered as a purposeful and competently pedagogically organized process of development and self-development of the individual, the process of mastering and perceiving values, moral attitudes by the methods and means of historical education. Research methods: the main methods are a theoretical analysis of research on the content of the educational process in history in secondary school and the method of observing the live practice of teaching the history of Russia in modern school history education and rethinking a new interpretation of the educational potential of national history in the current socio-cultural realities and recommendations for their practical use in modern pedagogical activity.

Political marketing (needs, products, markets)
Marketing as a new business philosophy appeared in the early twentieth century in America and became widespread around the world after World War II. American political scientist Stanley Keller first used the term "political marketing" in 1956, as a result of which a new theoretical discipline was born, and practical activities became widely used in conducting various elections. Political marketing has proved to be a very effective tool in shaping and managing public opinion and directly by the voter, especially when conducting an honest election campaign according to the rules, i.e. in a situation where the ability and skill of the marketing team to effectively use marketing tools and technologies to achieve their goals has a decisive impact on the final result. Obviously, when unfair methods of conducting an election campaign are used, the effectiveness of political marketing is greatly reduced.
Key words: marketing, political marketing, products, political goods, political market, needs, hopes, expectations.

Culture of disability as psychological and social phenomenon
The authors of the article turn to the description and analysis of the problem of disability in modern society. The focus is on disability culture as a psychological and social phenomenon. Disability is seen not only as a specific «medical condition», but also as a social construct shaped by the interactions between people and their environment. People with disabilities, by accepting their disability as their identity, are empowered to express their experiences, achievements and challenges. This contributes to the emergence and strengthening of a sense of belonging to a community. When describing disability culture, it is necessary to pay attention to the physical environment as the space in which people with disabilities participate in social life, as well as the sensitivity of the community, which allows the physical and social environments to be correlated depending on the community's willingness to support the participation of people with disabilities in public life. A review of the available literature found that people with disabilities have deep desires for making friends, romantic relationships, and social inclusion. Interpersonal relationships and social integration have a significant positive impact on the harmonization of individual and family quality of life of persons with disabilities, improvement of their physical and mental health, increased sense of purpose in life, belonging, identity, self-esteem and opportunities for various types of support. Disability culture, based on the common experience, history and traditions of people with disabilities, arises and is strengthened in such circumstances when people with disabilities create, act, and are present in the visual arts, sports, cinema, music and other formats of society.
