The reflection of the historical theme in the theatrical space of China
The article is devoted to the reflection of the historical theme in the mirror of the Chinese theater. The theater of China, turning to the topic of history and politics, considers it not only as a source of creative inspiration, but also sees an opportunity in it to rethink the past, preserve and communicate the cultural code of the Chinese nation to the viewer. The Chinese theater throughout the history of the People's Republic of China raises, interprets the historical events of the country. A special event that took place in China two years ago — the centenary of the Communist Party of China, is depicted in many stage works. It has become the main theme of events in the field of theater. Chinese theater groups showed 22 works at the VI Drama Festival in the capital of China. Playwrights and directors of performances show the history of the CPC through the search for vital values, the highest idea, faith in the identity of Chinese culture by the heroes.
In the XX century, the Chinese drama was dominated by a realistic depiction of reality, today the picture of the world differs from the previously existing one — stage art cannot create only realistic works. Modernist, avant-garde or postmodern plays by modern Chinese authors, combining new and classical techniques, demonstrate the socio-cultural context of the modern period. Undoubtedly, the appeal to the categories of realism, modernism, postmodernism seems to be conditioned in artistic comprehension, comprehension of historical themes. The modern society of China sees the semantic essence in the study of historical subjects in the scenic space.
Key words: Chinese theater, historical theme, political theme, Communist Party of China, festival, online productions.
