The activity of the Russian Orthodox Church in providing support to Christians in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic in the context of modern political events
This article examines the activities of the Russian Orthodox Church to support Christians in the Syrian Arab Republic in the context of modern political events. The purpose of the study is to analyze the modern types of interreligious dialogues that are used by the Russian Orthodox Church in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic.
This article also highlights the meeting of Metropolitan Anthony of Volokolamsk, head of the Department for External Church Relations of the Moscow Patriarchate, with Patriarch John X of Antioch, which took place within the framework of the XI General Assembly of the World Council of Churches from August 31 to September 8, 2022 in Kalsruhe (Germany). The purpose of this meeting was to discuss joint projects aimed at the post-war reconstruction of the Syrian Arab Republic. As well as assistance from the Moscow Patriarchate in the fight against persecution and violence against Christians living in this territory.
Based on this article, it can be concluded that a significant achievement in the joint activities of the Russian Orthodox and Antiochian Churches is the restoration of temples and monasteries, active peacemaking, which is an important element not only of the development of the population in the territory of the Syrian Arab Republic in a spiritual Christian way, but also the possibility of preserving ancient traditions and ways.

Methodological approaches to understanding the political elite as a concept
In this paper, the theoretical validity of the separation of the concept of political elite into a special conceptual area of political culture is considered. The effectiveness of the functioning of society depends to a greater extent on the interaction of the political elite and the population, on the mechanisms of elite recruitment, forms and methods of elite contact with each other. The political elite as a sphere of scientific research attracts the attention of scientists to the need for the validity of the functioning of the elite in the modern period of aggravation of the international situation. Based on the theoretical provisions and the cited excerpts from scientific sources, it is concluded that it is necessary.
Key words: globalization, state, political system, political elite, recruitment, system, theory.

The study discusses the relationship between heritage and identity in a specific spatial and temporal context using two concepts related to place and person: collective memory and the spirit of place.
The importance of the study lies in trying to understand the consequences of the destruction of cultural heritage in Syria during the current war for collective identity.

Interaction of national associations of indigenous small ethnic groups and Kuzbass authorities in the coverage of the regional press
The article is devoted to the reflection in the regional periodical press of the Kemerovo region of the nature of the interaction of national associations of indigenous and small-numbered peoples living in the Kemerovo region (Shortsev and Teleutov) and the Administration of the Kemerovo region. For content analysis, materials from regional newspapers (such as Kuzbass, Kuznetsk Krai) for 1993 were involved, when the leaders of national movements posed the problem of solving rather acute issues concerning the life of representatives of the indigenous population of the region. The analysis of the press materials showed its residual close attention to these problems, among which one can note the restoration of the Shor autonomy, the legal consolidation of the ethnic territory, the improvement of the legal status of rural national self-government bodies, preferential taxation and the development of national entrepreneurship. Comparison of these sources with the records of state institutions and national public organizations
Key words: national associations, small indigenous peoples, regional periodicals, office documentation, territories of traditional nature management, autonomy.
